Plans of the Interbau housing development, Berlin, Germany (circa 1958).

Interbau was a large scale housing development, where 48 of the some of the world’s most respected architects were asked to design a range of residential accommodation.

The first image shows the area prior to World War II and then after, showing greater inclusion of parkland. The second image shows an extruded plan view of the development, with the faint, dotted blocks being temporary structures.
